Nestled into the quaint Lucchese countryside, Casa del Vento is a semi-detached villa offering luxury accommodations for groups of up to ten people.  Once a hunting lodge, the history of this property can be traced back to the 18th century.  The villa is surrounded by monumental historic villas, set among vineyards and olive groves and has been completely restored while retaining the original features and charm of a typical Tuscan country house.

The interior spaces have been tastefully renovated and decorated with a combination of antique furniture and comfortable sofas.  The ground floor features an open plan sitting room and dining area with seating for ten persons, equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi and an office desk with PC, printer and internet access.  There is a spacious country-style kitchen with all the modern appliances including a table for five persons and a cozy fireplace.  The five double bedrooms with individually controlled air-conditioning and heating system, satellite TV and mosquito nets, are distributed between the ground floor and first floor.  The ground floor houses one small double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and the first floor four double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and beautiful views over the garden.

The colorful shared landscaped garden with a mixture of flowers and trees is arranged in different levels offering spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.  The villa offers several options for al fresco dining including a shared covered terrace with a large wooden dining table for twenty persons, a large patio with tables and chairs, two barbecue stations and two lovely gazebos with a round table for ten persons each.  A staircase lined up with herbs and flowers leads to a large wooden gazebo housing a shared outdoor gym and to the pool area.  The large shared swimming pool is surrounded by colorful roses and plenty of sun lounges.  In the back of the villa, in addition to the laundry room there is an outdoor children play are and a table soccer and ping pong for adults.

Cooking classes can be organized for guests by professional chefs, either as single or weekly courses and of different levels, varying from typical local dishes of Lucca to refined dishes of the Italian cuisine.  Surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Luca, rich in vineyards and olive trees, the villa offers an ideal setting for weddings and events.  Due to the experience gained over time, the team of the villa can personally contribute in all the arrangements, share ideas, concepts and apply them in the best possible way to create a fabulous and unforgettable wedding.   

In case of larger groups, Casa del Vento can be rented together with its attached villa, Casa del Ritratto accommodating ten additional guests.  Both villas can be connected internally through a common door and function as one big villa accommodating a total of twenty persons.  The two units, when rented separately, share the landscaped garden and outdoor facilities including the covered terrace, the large patio, the barbecue stations, the gazebos, the outdoor gym and swimming pool area but each villa offers complete privacy to its guests.
